My gifted program had us participate in Future Problem Solving. What they absolutely did not prepare us for in real life is the number of people who will do everything within their power to prevent problems from being solved.

That was a harsh lesson. Oof.

I’m going to have to look into this further, but I was in a gifted and talented program in grade school, and remember looking at Rorschach blots at some point.

I never learned how to study, even though 6 years of college, there was only one class that I spent more than two hours studying for.

I had the trifecta gifted program, and undiagnosed ADHD and dyslexia.

Someone said that The BlueSky was like The Gifted Program of Twitter, and it made me sick.

Sick from the PTSD as a kid, who went through Pull Out Schooling in Elementary to a couple of other schools, and sick because of the elements that are true… Now that BlueSky is open to everyone.

Giftedness isn't what you do, it's what you have.

I think the definition of giftedness should read like definitions of mental illness, with that rider about "interferes with activities of daily life".
