The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

The Democrats: proving once again an unending willingness to negotiate with terrorists.

I’m deadly serious, next time I get hit up for money by these clowns I’m gonna point to tonight and ask “what, exactly, are you asking me to pay for? I can get capitulation for free.”

I think Dick Cheney’s death today highlighted this divide.

The Democrats who still say shit like “reach across the aisle” and praise evil people are playing to a political audience that no longer exists.

Mamdani wasn’t cruel to Cuomo in a Trumpism style, but he didn’t concede anything either.
I love that Zohran did not praise Cuomo in his speech. You absolutely do not have to say nice things about bad people. We should normalize that in “polite” politics: Praising bad people is not actually “civility.”

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

A lot of Very Serious People will be pretending to be confused about What This All Means as a way to avoid the simple inconvenient reality: Voters like it when candidates are kind sincere non-weirdos who are passionate about big popular ideas that will actually help real people.

Boyle Heights is an immigrant neighborhood. This Dodgers victory means a lot to communities that are struggling and being oppressed right now. Hernandez speaking out meant a lot. Now we have to hold the team accountable, and demand no trip to the White House.

Also remember: trolls make money off of your interactions. They monetize that shit. Block them and drive them into penury.
Block fascists. There's no reasoning or arguing with them, you might as well debate with spoiled leftovers. Don't let them bait you. Block fast, block often, block fascists. Let their accounts mummify.

In an absolutely shocking revelation, it turns out that when Elon was yelling about leaving California — inducing a million headlines about California’s demise — he was actually lying.
Elon Musk loves to hate CA, yet can’t stop leasing new offices
The tech mogul’s companies haven’t been leaving the Bay Area, but rather, have been expanding their office footprint at every turn.

Boosting this for visibility. Help Edwyn out, if you can!
Hey @paxaus.bsky.social not sure if you can help or not but I've lost a very special pin in the shape of the Sarawak flag from my late father - possibly on the premises on the PAX showfloor (or at least I only noticed it was missing after visiting the floor and returning to my hotel room)

One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.
@lataco.bsky.social first began as a blog documenting local Mexican cuisine. Now, it’s an essential reporting powerhouse to the city as Trump’s mass deportation plot unfolds.

Pretty clear Stephen Miller, Noem, Hegseth and Trump are trying to provoke a Civil War at this point. What's interesting is they want to do it now, because even though they're unpopular, they seem to believe this is the most popular they'll be ever again. We can't let them win.
This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States.

America is on the brink of martial law.

Do not be silent.
This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.

An excellent point!
If you can't do verbal communication make sure you do something personal, not something auto-filled. Be a real person, a real American expressing your own personal views to the politician who is sworn by duty TO REPRESENT YOU if you are from their district.

Contact YOUR reps only or it's just spam.
Just got off the phone with my representative, after first calling my senators.

If you’re reading this and are an American, call your reps. Don’t send an auto-filled email; *call them.*

You don’t have to be eighteen to speak to your reps. You don’t have to be articulate. Just call.
