Several artists I've gotten lovely work from over the many years have ceased making art entirely. Hell, the artist of my first model only does the occasional sketch now due to IRL work.

Been trying to get back into drawing. I was constantly at my sketchbook in 2020, doodling d&d characters and working on anatomy studies. Our group imploded for a few reasons and I've had a hard time picking up the pencil again, but recently it's getting easier

moved my gals off the bookshelf and into a display case. safer from the cats but now I don't take them out to play with as often. testing out poses with Stormy & THRILLED with how well articulated she is, but this needs some finagling to go from 'exorcism' to 'passionate performance' #oc:stormyrose

app-ification is the bane of my existence. what do you mean the updated version of this software is aesthetically nicer but takes a million years to do anything because all the processes are hidden to improve the aesthetics

I don't spend as much time as I used to feeling sorry for myself - for the most part, I've reached a kind of peace with my own limitations. And then I have days like today that come at the end of about a month of struggling more than usual, where I thank my lucky stars that I have a wfh job (cont)
