The problem with calls for “discourse,” is that MAGA isn’t interested in an exchange of ideas. It wants to leverage the rules of polite to destroy discourse. It wants to walk in, shout us all down, spit lies, and thumb their noses at us.

This poor kitty couldn’t move easily when I first found it. It didn’t look hurt. I suspect it ate something poisonous to cats. I brought water and cat food from my place and watched it drink water occasionally. It would gain its strength and then move over to its other side. 1/2

I know this is total pandering and audience flattery but I just checked into Twitter for the first time in a bit and when you leave and come back with fresh eyes you realize how utterly cooked it is. Political objections to 4chan-ification aside, it’s just aesthetically gross and unusable now.

I thought you should know that in 2024 New Jersey, Minnesota, Illinois, California, and Maryland have all enacted legislation that bans book bans & censorship in both, school and public libraries, and protects librarians.

I feel like music doesn’t have the same trance/relaxing effect as it used to because we’re inundated with it as a background to reels/posts/TikToks now. We’re always listening subconsciously and music used to be a more conscious decision
