This is the 4th weekend in a row that my area has been hit by high winds...its getting old constantly being without power & heat when its in the single digits outside. I haven't been able to sew since the beginning of Dec because I'm trying to stay warm & keep our apartment from freezing up. ugh.

Every year I try to go into December with a positive mindset, and every year I get massively disappointed by everyone and just end up sad and depressed. I dunno why I try anymore, honestly.

I'll be honest, I haven't been this invested in a show since the glory days of tumblr back in the early 2010s. Heated Rivalry really is that show for me right now, watching edits & browsing the tags on tumblr...my god I feel like I'm 20 again & I haven't been punched in the face by the universe yet.

this is how I spent my weekend...cold and without power thanks to an winter wind storm of 75-90+ mph winds knocking out the power-grid to my entire small town. We only just got our power back two hours ago but still no heat...that gets fixed tomorrow *hopefully*

so Youtube has a rewind the year thing now...this is very accurate since the top three are channels I'll put on when I'm sewing for background noise if I'm not in the mood for podcasts, but I'm surprised GMMTV is #5 I kind of though one of my fav history doc channels would have been in that slot.

Soooo a new Stargate series was announced today 😍. If this means early 2000s sci-fi is back I am so ready.
I should note that the original series is a comfort show for me so I really hope they don't screw this up.

Went thrifting today...it didn't bring as much joy as it use to. Everything is so expensive or cheap feeling. Anything that was good quality was more $ than I want to spend on something second hand. I did manage to find some fabric bundles for under $5 that I snagged.

This has been a horrible Friday. I'm dealing with a disgruntled customer pissed about a missing package, a case of mild food poisoning and my chronic fatigue decided to kick into overdrive as a fun little cherry on top of everything.
