For that matter, depathologizing being gay was a bitter pill to swallow for many when it happened incrementally through the 70s and 80s; and that effort only happened with aggressive protest as well. I mention this because these folks? They were around for that! They're freakin' old!

Particularly given the blatant double standard this court selectively, and arbitrarily, creates. State-level bans on gender-affirming care, those are A-OK, but state-level bans on conversion therapy, those are unconstitutional because gaslighting isn't electroshocking someone's nuts.

We know this because SEGM's cofounder calls Guyatt a liar and says he knew full well what SEGM was and what she wanted from them in an email she sent Jesse Singal:

There's also the part where this chatbot was permitted to groom children and be blatantly racist until Reuters asked about it:

Like, for all them "groomer" conspiracy theories targeting me and mine, this was right here!

So...what, banning trans women from not being housed with randomly selected men? You realize that even if there's a mutual agreement between a cis woman and a trans woman to be roommates and they've been friends for 10 years, them rooming together would be a fineable offense under this settlement?
August 8, 2025 at 11:49 PM
I mean, this bit right here? What, someone who's literal job it is to look for fineable offenses, in a landscape where NOT misgendering a trans student is a fineable offense?!

It's not even implicit. Jackman got shredded for that role because when he looked like an actual, functional strongmen, male viewers bitched about how he didn't look like the musculature of his comic counterpart. This was Wolverine in X-Men (2000). Guess which women preferred.

Also again, not for nothing, but if you wanna talk predatory Jewish finance figures, why not start with Stephen Miller, Donald? Y'know, this grasping sociopath?

I'm serious, this guy? This guy. Complaining about Mamdani?

Maybe he should stop defending this 20 years on:

This is, just so you know, what they mean when they say "Gold standard science." What? They're higher on the EBM Pyramid so that means higher quality which means more betterer science, right? This is legitimately how they explain their case about trans kids, too. This is a figure in that "report".
May 1, 2025 at 11:00 PM
I'm not even 100% sure where in the hell they CITE the letter. But I know that SEGM was angry about it, and they cite SEGM whining about it as evidence of "suppression" of their junk science:

So about that HHS Review. All you really need to know about it is that not only is it just the Cass Review, but American and Worse, but here's it unironically trying to tell you that psychodynamic conversion therapy is evidence based.
May 1, 2025 at 1:55 PM
I'm not kidding. That's the fucking argument. "Kids will be harmed by the policy we rammed through once they grow up, so do conversion therapy on them."

Basically, they can steal whatever they want now and get away with it. I mean, cops already do that with civil asset forfeiture, but this is on a whole other level of making excuses for just straight-up robbery.

Or, in his own words:

The horrible part here was not just how interconnected the watershed anti-woke crowd is, but that I agree with Chris Rufo about its milquetoast liberal members. It's actually illuminating that they SOMEHOW thought they'd never translate their ideas towards their fascistic conclusion.

All refusing to take a stand does is lose trust from the left--and heck, from scientists ourselves. Why would I ever trust an organization purporting to be "scientific" that allows this idiot to be a fellow?
February 17, 2025 at 10:26 PM
And as for this bit...Yeah, sure. But they ALREADY thought that about scientists. They already think science is partisan because impartial science is incompatible with conservative worldviews, and if it doesn't match their worldview, it must be a lie.
February 17, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Also, this bit. It goes...understated, how much conspiracy theories rhat originated in liberal circles can be used to wedge folks into voting for authoritarianism. Trump knows how to exploit this.
