Damn, the responses in this thread aren't what I expected I'd see on Bluesky.
Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

Interesting, haven't seen this happen before. I asked Claude to check an algorithm and it code-switched between English and Chinese to write "Re-evaluate" (Re-评估).

Starred a Github repo and got this welcome issue created tagging me. If I have to guess, the author had good intentions, but the message across in a different manner and that's definitely not a positive one.

I have been avoiding using AI for recruiting - but I recently gave up. It has been super helpful for normalizing resumes from assigning a weighted score to resumes and make sense of the noise to generating follow up questions.

It'd be a killer feature for Whatsapp to integrate with Calendar for creating appointments directly in Whatsapp.

Well, looks like Claude.AI account != Anthropic Console account.

Looks like Anthropic doesn't do account linking. My direct email account was superseded by a new account after I used "Sign in with Google". But my subscription is with the older account and I'm completely locked out from that account.

Honestly, one of the best things about working from home is that I take an afternoon nap most days of the week.

My experience brainstorming with LLM is that it often ends up it losing context of earlier messages. I just spent a good hour "vibe coding" adding RTK Query to an old Redux based codebase after going around in circles of Error A -> suggested fix -> Error B -> suggested fix -> Error A.

I have been using avante.nvim so much these last few weeks. I'm not great with UI/frontend dev so I started from a prompt to integrate the UI with a backend API and built a whole chart using prompts and continuous refinement with minimal involvement within a single day.

Rising pollution and traffic made me leave Bangalore a decade ago and I feel like it's still not changed much despite so much investment into building the metro. Most Indian cities seem to be headed that route: a chaotic urban concrete jungle.

Trying to be more conscious of my electricity usage with this Home Assistant automation. Takes the usage (linked with smart meter) and sends the approx cost for the day as a Telegram message around midnight.

I have tried so many times but have only been able to pair only one Ikea RODRET smart switch to my Home Assistant. Second one just doesn't work after initial pairing.

Spent some time over the weekend configuring Home Assistant voice assistant. Despite using state-of-the-art whisper, it still isn't super accurate at STT but it's far more configurable than my old setup of Mycroft was.

Does anyone at Google actually dogfood their products? The Gemini icon in Gmail completely breaks swiping on the profile photo to switch between accounts.

Got a new knife and very comically proceeded to cut myself within minutes of the first use. But yes, the knife is excellent.

I finally figured out how to stop Telegram spam. After I removed the username from my profile, I haven't had a single spam.
ggn.me Gaganpreet @ggn.me · Nov 19
Telegram spam is getting out of hand and hiding the feature "only contacts can message me" behind a paywall is obnoxious.

Amusing how even my mail carrier has hopped on the end of year summary bandwagon.

I wonder what's going on with Raspberry Pi that the price of a Pi has been constant for many years. I constantly see deals for Intel mini PCs retailing for ~70 euros, which is less than the price of a bare bones top-end Raspberry Pi that doesn't include a power supply or a case.

Fun Friday stuff: For some reason, my desktop can't resolve names from PiHole anymore. Every other machine on the network can but the desktop just can't. The PiHole is reachable, port is accessible.

What could have been worse than Google's "select the traffic lights" captcha is now here. This one by hCaptcha is evil.
