That's the current volume, I don't have data from 6 months ago. At that time, we were using EC2 + ELB + EBS + VPC - all of which added up to just south of $100 (after taxes). The instance was t3.small, which would be a fraction of this amount but the auxiliary costs add up.

We don't care if you use AI tools for the take home exercise. In fact, we'd prefer you did. However, using an LLM doesn't excuse making responsible choices and being or not being able to explain what was written helps us know if the LLM is a tool or a crutch for them.

Spotify used to be have a similar thing (don't use it anymore). It'd default to Dutch descriptions for some playlists despite my locale set to English and there was no way to change it.

It's annoying that websites ignore the language header sent by browser and default to location - just being lazy. I started to work on an extension to force English (eg: GoDaddy is controlled by a client side cookie), but never got around to releasing it.

It's not an issue for gmail addresses, but for Google Workspace. It's documented here: support.google.com/a/answer/757...

It sucks that there's practically no alternative for what Google Workspace provides. There's Micosoft and Zoho - in my experience both are not as polished.

They built an application. Building a product is a whole different ball game and you can't do that with AI.

That amount doesn't look like a big deal for Apple. I'm sure they have run the numbers and calculated that they can keep delaying until the price of compliance exceeds their margins.
