The thing about Mamdani is he’s making it obvious even for normies that the Democrats (with a few notable exceptions) are a capital-bound centre right political party looking to build a base of ~*~reasonable~*~ republicans at the expense of actual progressive voters. They hope to become the new GOP.

At a town hall in PA-10 and I’ve never heard people so angry. Our Rep is the worm Scott Perry who deserves a dump truck of shit on him. But the people here are also furious that the Dem currently running against him is Janelle Stelson — seen as a worthless pawn of the rich.

this is a teeny, tiny, teeny-tiny ask. it is not "purity politics" or whatever nonsense you wanna throw at it. it's basic. if you can't commit to this you pose a present danger to marginalized people, which means you can't complain if you don't get somebody's vote.

Just to be clear: young people will get out and vote if you give them a candidate to vote for. If you give them the same nasty centrist who doesn’t represent their values, they have no stakes in it and they won’t vote. This isn’t rocket science.
