@charlieangus.substack.com.web.brid.gy was in Kingston last night. About 200 of us turned up, many about my age. One highlight was a 17 year-old, an NDP organizer (who brought his own 14-year old videographer). He spoke with real passion about his commitment to the resistance.

My 🇨🇦 sister’s friend got pulled over crossing 🇺🇸 border. They didn’t like his trip to Cuba 3 years ago in passport. Finger printed him. Grilled him. Told him he can never return to 🇺🇸. He was lucky to be able to return here 🇨🇦. Government needs stronger travel advisory now!

I must be tired, but this hit a nerve and I found myself quietly crying as I watched. I’m not overly patriotic, but it is good to celebrate good things, especially when they are under attack.
