Many of us in Canada have already erased those thoughts. Personally I seriously wonder if I will ever cross that frontier again. I mourn for your beautiful country and your many good hearted people.

I am lucky to be retired from my scientific and academic career. But in my 30 years career I attended many conferences in your country (my home country is Canada). I would not risk travel across that frontier now, and I fear I never will again.
