Sen Angus King said the quiet part out loud. Senators and Representatives on both sides of the aisle should resign if they actually agree with his statement, “Standing up to Donald Trump doesn’t work.” So much for the concept of co-equal branches of government. 🤬 @senangusking.bsky.social

Sen. Shaheen on Fox, “Leader Thune has agreed that we will have a bill that we will write that will give us an opportunity to work on those healthcare costs... I believe his word is good.”

Reminds me of Sen Collins when she voted against impeachment saying that Trump had “learned his lesson.”🤦‍♀️

After caving to Republican demands
@senangusking.bsky.social tries to spin his vote as “providing an opportunity to protect ACA tax credits.” What a load of crap. He knows that Republicans will vote no. If he’s so proud of his vote he just needs to own it instead of trying to make it sound good.🤬

After caving to Republican demands, Sen Angus King uses wiggle words to confuse the uninformed. He claims that he “secured an opportunity to avoid a harmful hike in health care costs.” What a load of crap! They only agreed to “hold a vote in December”on ACA funding, and Republicans will vote no. 🤬

Interesting that people continue to vote against their own self interests.

Susan Collins and Republicans jeering over concerns about Americans. Bernie called them out.

I’m guessing Schumer crafted the Senate cave so that he could vote ‘No’ out of fear for his seat. It’s time for the old guard to retire. We need different leadership that can meet the reality of today and the needs of everyday Americans.
November 10, 2025 at 12:28 PM
These Senators joined Republicans to pass the CR with no compromise to extend ACA subsidies. So millions of Americans will end up having to drop their health insurance coverage as a result. 🤬

Trump & Republicans are crowing about their victory over Democrats. The Dems now have zero leverage, and Republicans know it. 🤦‍♀️🤬

As always, Bernie is on the right side.

Shame on “Democratic” Senators Hassan and Shaheen. You have failed New Hampshire.
November 10, 2025 at 2:26 AM
Disgusted 🤬
EIGHT Senate Democrats have voted to advance the funding measure so far after the deal was reached:

Cortez Masto
Durbin
Fetterman
Hassan
Kaine
King
Rosen
Shaheen

If the existing 52 Republicans hold, that's 60 — enough to advance this agreement. Final vote still to come.

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Tell Chuck Schumer to grow a spine and hold the line…

There should be no deal that leaves working families behind.

Some say Democrats “made their point” by holding out 40 days. Anyone who has ever had a toddler knows how wrong this is. When a toddler whines to get their way and you ultimately give in, you’re just teaching them that you’ll bend eventually. If Dems cave, GOP learns they can do whatever they want.🤬

The Dems may cave with nothing more than a promise to have a vote regarding ACA subsidies. So even if Republicans fulfill their promise, which is questionable at best, they still would likely vote against the ACA funding - hurting millions of Americans and making the Dems look even more stupid. 🤬🤬
MSNBC reporting that 12 Democratic Senators are going to cave to Republicans & Dump and vote to reopen the government without agreement on ACA funding. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

@aoc.bsky.social Definitely primary Schumer. He’s lost all credibility. We need someone to fight for every American, not cave to the oligarchs.

Chuck Schumer is at it again. He's trying to give away the farm. He's trying to give Republicans a political win after last Tuesdays election, which clearly shows the shutdown is on trump and Republicans. Call his DC office and tell him to hold the line and do not vote for trumps bill. 202-224-6542

If this happens, I’m so pissed off. After 40 days of putting people through this pain, Dems give up and get nothing. Why did they bother? We all showed up Tuesday to give them wins across the country, and they turn around and show how weak they are. They all need to be replaced. 🤦‍♀️

Just contacted both my Democratic Senators. “Senator, I voted for you. I want you and other Senators to hold the line for Sen Schumer’s proposal to extend ACA credits for 1 year. If you don’t, you know Trump & GOP will not keep a promise to address it after the shutdown ends.” They need to hear us!🇺🇸
