A hidden “feature” of the GOP’s Big Beautiful Bill - a new $250 “visa integrity fee” added to all non-immigrant visas - tourists, business travelers, students, etc.

DHS can charge more than this, and the fee is indexed to inflation.

Yeah, this "bureau" has me on there as well. I don't work with them; I work with the Macmillan Speakers Bureau. I've never seen a booking through them and if I got one I would turn it down. If you're thinking of booking me, go ahead and use my actual speakers bureau, please.
A friend alerted me that something called the AAE Speakers Bureau is purporting to be my booking agent. Nope!

I just emailed them and told them to take this shit down. If you're an author, you might want to see if they're posing as your agent too.

Remember the news about some of the Les Misérables cast boycotting trump’s attendance at the Kennedy Center? There’s much more to the story.

The trump event on June 11 is a fund raiser for the trump-controlled Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

You receive a call on your phone.

The caller says they're from your bank and they're calling about a suspected fraudulent payment.

"Oh yeah," you think. Obvious scam, right?

The caller says "I'll send you an in-app notification to prove I'm calling from your bank."

We may be back up to 9 planets.

Researchers at the Univ of Taiwan compared objects that were observed in the IRAS database with the data obtained by AKARI (23 years apart) to see if there were any movements within that time frame.

For everyone wondering what the US food supply was like before regulations, here’s an online copy of The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

Although the book is a fictionalized account of a Lithuanian family, Sinclair spent 7 weeks incognito working in the Chicago stockyards to gather info for his book.

I know Pennsylvania’s Dept of Agriculture marks baked goods, pastas & other products with “Reg. Penna. Dept. Agr.” to show they meet PA standards. Perhaps blue states should come up with a similar program to counteract this?

I want to be sensitive to their feelings & not get into a shouting match, but I also don't want to answer the same question repeatedly, so I'm going to post once.
