Are people really all that surprised about the Trump-Mamdani thing? Trump doesn’t actually care about the politics. He’s 1. a pushover, 2. prone to man crushes on charismatic, powerful guys who stand up to him, and 3. obsessed with New York high society and earning its respect. This was inevitable.

The Thunder can talk about “0 and 0” and and playing every game the same all they want, but they CLEARLY have approached Golden State and the Lakers with a different energy. Part of it is playing at home and feeding off the crowd, I’m sure, but the difference in intensity is undeniable.

Welp. I’m not gonna lie, I had this one circled as the first loss for a while, mostly due to the schedule and travel. But still a tough loss for OKC, considering how they started and how hard they fought. They blew all their energy on a hot start and were ultimately too tired and too undermanned.

Are these refs on this OKC-Portland game being paid per whistle or something? It’s a sloppy game with lots of contact, but lord almighty, let some of these go.
