The West Wing used to be enjoyable in its idealism but watching it today, with Trump it gives me nostalgia vibes in the Greek sense... Pain from a past where I had faith in US politics.

Zelensky has led the Ukrainian people against Russian aggression for over 3 years. He has aged 30 years in that time. And there he sits in the Oval Office with two mindless gorillas threatening him and shouting utter nonsense at him. Never in my life have I seen anything so undignified.

Rebellions are built on hope. And they're ended by Imperial investment in local healthcare, education and infrastructure programmes with adequate governance.
