During finals week, I make sure to eat enough/healthy food because it provides our brain and body with energy and nutrients which allow us to focus better. Skipping meals or eating unhealthy foods can lead to fatigue and have a negative impact on our exam performance. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

This article does a great job in explaining how much protein a teen should consume. Muscle growth is a complex process that involves both protein and calories. This article also does a great job in showing different foods and the number of grams of protein they contain. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Tom Carroll's story showed me that healthy habits, even with fast food, are possible if done mindfully. His journey emphasizes the importance of consistency, discipline, and healthy choices. When it comes to working with future clients, I would encourage consistency. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

One fact that stuck with me that I didn't know before this week was that obesity is a lot more complex than people think. There are different reasons as to why people live their lives at an unhealthy way like portion control, junk food, lack of exercise, poverty, etc. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

One challenge I sometimes face is finding time to shop and prepare healthy meals. My schedule is quite busy, but I am making sure to utilize my time wisely. This year, I have been doing better in meal prepping my foods as weeks go by, so I don't consume unhealthy foods. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

This article was very interesting, especially the fact that leafy greens like spinach, kale, etc reduce the risk of gallstones. Fiber supports gallbladder health by aiding in digestion and moving food through the colon. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

A fad diet that caught my attention was intermittent fasting. It's interesting that many diets focus on what to eat, but intermittent fasting is all about when you eat. A couple of benefits of intermittent fasting are heart health, memory, physical performance, etc. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
