Yes, I noticed that in the Philp interview. Pathetic. And the irony is that those to whom he seeks to appeal with such 'tough talk' have already written the Conservatives off, whilst those centrist Tories who might be won back will be repelled. So it's the entire Tory cul-de-sac in microcosm.
