My simple answer is to quote Graham Tomlin

Moral compass is the major issue you rightly raise. I support human values and their basis in Judaeo Christian teachings. I consider once we over-ride the sanctity of life and the relationship between doctor and patient ends. Graham Tomlin puts it much better.
