It’s the pull of continuously improving my coding and EDA prior to choosing an analysis of variance/likelihood approach.

If I could only, say, build regression modeling dashboards or pipelines all day in a rote production process, I’d cave and roll out CVs.

Nice. Keep going

It’s not him that one should worry about. The demand signal to which he is responding should be the primary concern

Bitcoin and XRP, when they drop. Both are infra now - long term. (Cash)

Metals. (strategic durables)

LP in cash-generating portfolios (real projects, but especially education and exposure to edtech, including hardware).

Not in any particular order or proportion.

Sure, but wouldn’t this be slow in almost any language where this specific modeling operation isn’t optimized for speed? Matlab used to grind for hours even for what was designed to work with the C++ under the hood.

I blame CPU instruction sets, in the end; maybe we need to use the GPU more?

It's understandable to worry about, I suppose! I have an insider perspective, and I hope I can dispel some anxieties <3 Here's Jonathan McPherson on the question: youtu.be/1sROVZ83FNg?...

I'll try to share this clip around Bluesky! There are others, too.

Is this something people are worrying about? Y'all don't waste your anxiety on this, it's not going away!

2/2 He is as curious as I am to see if anyone will want to buy one. To that end, I have set up a webstore where you can buy a t-shirt or a hoodie in non-traditional colours. Any profit will go to the R Foundation. Let's see how it goes. #Rstats

I then went searching for " 'data dictionary' R", and found this: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/datadictionary/datadictionary.pdf

So I will be building data dictionaries from now on, and we'll see how well this one works first.
