Something crazy happened earlier this year in Norwegian fish landings. A few places are quite spun up now, trying to sort out what happened at the end of the summer (the upward tick on the right kept going). Fish are boring - until they aren’t. #rstats

Speaking of MATLAB, here's is a table from Hiebeler's guide in 2014, and the only comment I have about inputing values manually...but especially "by column" in R is: "play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

I'm happy for Github, because I just discovered the {tabplot} package by Martijn Tennekes and @edwindjonge.bsky.social . It hasn't been updated since 2021, and is no longer on CRAN.
Amazing for EDA, so I hope they get back to it someday. #rstats
