Took the kids to see Predator: Badlands, am now listening to Carole King's Tapestry while I wait for my masking fluid to dry on my tiny water-colour painting, and had a snack of leftover aloo gobi that the one kid brought home from dinner with friends. A nice moment in the afternoon.

Frankenstein never came to my local theatre, so we watched on Netflix. As per normal with GDT, amazing costumes, set design, and cinematography. Jacob Elordi was excellent. A lovely, gory, heartfelt adaptation of one of my favourite books.

I am a little bit sad about the Blue Jays losing (but will get over it) and frustrated by my underglaze transfers smearing (but will try again) and am dreading going to work tomorrow (likely persisting). Sunday scaries are here.

The way the camera kept going back to Little at the end of the Mariners/Blue Jays games was so deliberate. I felt bad for that guy. Still wish he hadn't pitched, but ouch.

I have been laughing about David Ortiz and Vladdy Guerrero and their "da Yankees lose!" for about 24 hours straight. Plus, it reminds me of Kenan Thompson's Big Papi impression which makes me laugh even more.
