So disappointed that my District fell for the attack ad/mailer lies and voted this hack into office. Bought by the folks who want to destroy public education and put into office solely to pass this legislation.

Don’t look at your retirement accounts … remember that for most folks you are playing a long game. I’m just wondering when this period of economic prosperity that MAGA promised is gonna happen. Seems they are just tanking the economy, alienating our enemies & how about that unemployment?!?!

It’s a small thing but my family has used Google calendar and Gmail for years to coordinate our busy lives and Chrome as our browser. We have now moved almost fully out of the Google ecosystem. I’m trying to make better choices as a consumer … even if it’s often picking the lesser of two evils.

A school aged child who was unvaccinated died in Texas. This is the first US measles death since 2015 (an older immunocompromised woman), before that it was 2003. Measles kills thousands of children worldwide each year - vaccines save lives!!!

Every one of these federal employee firings represent a real human with bills to pay, perhaps a family to support & they lose not only a job but health insurance & retirement benefits. We should care more about these folks regardless who we or they voted for.
On the HHS Leadership call today: 1 employee from CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Service) and 2 employees from SSA (Social Security Administration) have died by suicide after their firing.

Joy Reid’s show was one of the few I still regularly listened to on MSNBC. I dropped Morning Joe & others after it was clear that appeasing Trump was more important than speaking truth to power. So disappointed!

I stated my career as a civil servant and worked hand in hand with smart and dedicated federal workers from the USEPA and CDC. Most federal employees are hard working & devoted to serving the public despite knowing they could often make more money on the private sector.

I’m SO proud! My teen got an email from his teacher that required a response (I was copied on it). At least half of the students replied to the whole list, but my kid understood there is a difference between “REPLY” and “REPLY ALL” 🙌🏻

Medicaid covers 41% of all births in the United States, nearly half of children with special health care needs, five in eight nursing home residents and 4 in 10 children. Slashing funding for these groups doesn’t seem very “pro-life” does it??
BREAKING: House Republicans have released their budget resolution. They are aiming to cut Medicaid by at least $880 billion, and cut SNAP by at least 20%.

“I would own this” …. This is his Gaza plan?!?!?! Why wasn’t this gem of a foreign policy plan discussed in the campaign?? I’m sure the President owning the Gaza Strip will be a sustainable and peaceful end to the Middle East conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
