Nice family night for Mom’s 68th B-Day. I smoked a cajun seasoned 13lb turkey, Caitlin made a homemade mac and cheese with smoked gouda, and we did green beans, corn maque choux, and cornbread. Turkey was beautiful, but I never got a picture before carving. “Joy in the simple things.”

For my non-FB friends, introducing my new E-moto / E-bike. Riding Times GT73. Bicycle pedals with power assist, full suspension, top speed of 37*mph (I have maxed out at 34, but still not bad!) Seems to be 25-40ish miles on a full charge. Depends how much power you use / how fast you go.

Facebook said it wasn’t fact checking anymore - but sent me this notice today. Turns out their fact check is incorrect and they have labeled true information as false to help shield Elon / DOGE / Trump. How is this not censorship? I disputed the claim and they told me I’m still wrong. 1/2

Wild how much the reflection from the snow lights things up at night. It seems darker in person, but still abnormally bright. Nothing like fresh snow on the trees and an unbroken layer of white before the paw prints start. She’s now barking at a deer out behind the fence.

A little studio time today at Holt Studios in Mt. Morris putting down guitar tracks for Bob Bunce / Cultivator’s upcoming album. Did a BB King inspired part for one song and two country styled tunes with my trusty customised Telecaster. Nice lunch too at Brian’s USA Diner.

Ordered a new Fender Vintera ii Telecaster Bass to replace the original vintage 70’s Tele bass that I have been guardian of the last 8 years or so. The bass belonged to my musical “Dad,” Al Cesare, who was actually a guitarist but became my first bass player. He passed from cancer in 2003.
