Found this banded obsidian today in Waihi (New Zealand) in a stream bed. I then promptly got into a fight with a blackberry bramble and lost. Literal blood sweat and tears will go into making these jewels.

One of the great things about having my own 3d printer is i can test print out half-baked designs to help me progress its development. I like the scale of this piece, but the composition isn't landing for me. Back to the drawing board.
