Black Lives Matter fundamentally broke these people’s brains. They couldn’t bear the idea that they might have to tell a different story about this country and thus tell a different story about themselves. They hated it, and now they are using everything they have to never feel that way again.

If you’re a straight, cis person who has ever posted some version of a rainbow with “you’re safe with me” or similar, it’s time to back up the words with action— contact your reps and ask them what they’re going to do to protect trans people from this administration, particularly trans kids.

Given that our system produces racist outcomes, and we know some laws were written to disenfranchise groups of voters, all convinced criminals should have the right to vote. We as a society decide they cannot be in the general population. That shouldn't remove their say in that society.
There are states where convicted felons cannot vote. If we let a convicted felon be president, it seems we should let them vote as well, no?

Given that our system produces racist outcomes, and we know some laws were written to disenfranchise groups of voters, all convinced criminals should have the right to vote. We as a society decide they cannot be in the general population. That shouldn't remove their say in that society.

I joined Facebook in February 2005. It was private and college focused. What it is now is vastly different. I just downloaded all my data from Facebook. I think the hardest thing about leaving Facebook is the people that are no longer with us.
