If the almost 1.4 BILLION Catholics of the world, and every other moral person of good will and judgement, really wants to honour the life, leadership and faith of Pope Francis in the wake of his sad passing, they would fight to make LAUDATO SI, his powerful call for climate action, a REAL priority.

When he was Prime Minister, Harper was the worst national leader in the democratic world. He was THE global dinosaur & obstructionist on the #ClimateCrisis, attacked science & evidence by muzzling scientists & gutting the census, & more.

And that was all BEFORE MAGA.

Poilievre will be much worse.
Seems like a good time to remind us about how bad a Prime Minister Stephen Harper was, and how bad he’s been since losing, putting all his energy into championing extreme right wing autocrats around the world, including Trump/MAGA.

Harper was campaigning with Poilievre yesterday. Two peas in a pod.
Every time Pierre Poilievre brings up Mark Carney’s history with Justin Trudeau as an attack (which will be pretty much constant), Canadians should remember Poilievre’s much longer/ongoing (and much more concerning) relationship with Stephen Harper. And through Harper, every right-wing autocrat.

Change is afoot. Although I and my friends have been complaining about FB for years, now there seems to be real desire and movement to other platforms.
