I question the use of "supposed to be the greatest democracy on the planet". When & by whom was this fiction first "supposed?" This presumption of a grand design for the USA has resulted in the assumption that the USA had achieved such status at sometime past, rather than still working toward it.

Off topic, but please, please stop believing your own propaganda, this "greatest democracy" has been the choice between plague and cholera for at least 50 years, a two (!) party system that's heavily influenced by big money, not able to provide basics like health care or not getting shot at school 😒

The murder’s father says that his son is a “good Christian” and that he’s proud of him for killing Good. So was the man who killed the Minnesota Speaker of their state assembly, her husband and guide dog. I find that incredibly troubling.
