At the end of May I'll no longer work for Underdog Games.
The owner is shrinking the company to almost nothing to give it the best chance of keeping the lights on during the tariff tsunami.

1st run of Dead Cells! We did terrible tbh, but it took a while to figure out all the rules; they could have been written a bit better. The roguelite aspect of the game seems well done though, looking forward to try out more runs in the future.

We played Parks for the 1st time (French version). Beautiful game, simple rules with great iconography, components are high quality. We enjoyed it a lot. SO won with just 1 point over!

#SteamReplay So many farm sims this year. 😆 My "Playtime by Month" graph drops significantly from Sept to now due to home repairs. 😭 But I've also been playing Mario & Luigi: Brothership on Switch as of late.

SO and I have had very little time to play anything (video or board), due to working on house repairs in the past few months. We're making a short list of games to play, shows, etc. to enjoy for our holiday vacation! I am so ready for it!

I didn't get to watch the Game Awards yet, will take a look tonight, but I was reading about rumours of Half-Life 3. It's ridiculous that there are still gaming sites / channels milking this nearly 20 years later.

I still have not fully recovered from the PAX trip, I had a lot of things to do yesterday despite having a day off. I fear today is going to be a looooong day at work, with all the catching up to do.

I heard that PAX is at the same time as BGG Con for 2025. I haven't been to either, but I'm sad it's at the same time. I feel like a lot of people go to both and now they'll have to prioritize what a better business choice will be versus just wanting to play some games.

On the way back home! A good 8h-9h drive + probably a few stops. I am super exhausted honestly, I didn't get good sleep sadly, but we have a nice haul in the trunk that I look forward to open at home.

As a first timer at #PAXUnplugged, I am blown away! So many booths to check out! We missed out on an event because we were too busy buying games. 😳 I don't know how people can do it all in one day.

I'm so excited and stressed out in equal parts: I will be leaving for Philadelphia very early tomorrow to go to PAX Unplugged during the long weekend, but I also need to finish my work in time today and to finish packing. 😰
