And- spoiler alert- further data showing more frequent association of women-gendered terms with stigmatising and blaming language, often in contravention of good practice guidelines about professional usages.

The #GenderBias continues with a plethora of terms codifying women by bodily functions (including the teeth-grindingly awful 'girls of childbearing age/potential') vs just 3 for men, none of which mention men's reproductive age/potential. C'mon @nicecomms.bsky.social , sort it out. 😵‍💫

(2/2) tells you about this in med school. No one preps you for the fight you have as the only medic of working class parents. To fight for their care, to be the mediator, to fill in the gaps of poor medical communication, to give them hope even when you have none left #fuckcancer
