Came home from Gamescom with a cold, but I've got the best nurse.

A day late (but not a dollar short), I'm finally on my way to #gamescom. So far, everything is perfect (the weather is amazing!), and I will never regret upgrading to 1st class on a long-ish train ride.

Flightradar is just so wild. You can just track the little airplane-shaped dot, watching it make its way into what looks like utter chaos... a little more than 2 hours to go.

While having played "The Room" by @fireproofgames.com series repeatedly, I still find it strangely calming and distracting from the outside world.

I finally gave in to my overtaxed brain's screaming and went on a twenty minute walk (as recommended as a remedy for losing one's mint) and found a whole field of these in the park. That and the unusually warm sun really did wonders. Now, back to the grind, I guess.

Taking a break from doomscrolling to let everyone know that every year, my husband brings me fragrant red roses on my birthday and that's just wonderful.
