Actually an addendum to that - at one point I did see a presumably unhoused person with a sign at a busy spot. Despite the fact traffic was moving rather than offering him assistance, he was smiling, waving, and helping direct people through the confusing traffic patterns. I hope he's safe.

Yeah either i beat the rush or there wasnt one. Despite the initial issue which i will try to arrange better in advance if i stay there again, overall excellent con hotel experience.
But i will be glad to be home, hopefully tonight.

Though holy crap the air is dry in here. Or maybe it's just the dehydration causing me to feel shriveled - the first couple ounces of Gatorade I tried last night left me in such pain I gave up and turned the lights out at 10. Not sure how to remedy this.
