Went downtown for Pokemon Go event and walked around till I couldn't anymore. Got my first shundo!
Also saw a familiar logo in a window. ...No idea if I'd be up to going out again today, but it sure has been awhile since I went to a show that wasn't at a con.

Cleaned all the bunny boxes today since I knew it was going to snow... and while dumping the litter around my roses. found what's probably the last clover of the year. Gave it to Sage because clover is pretty much her favorite thing ever, and by next year's crop she'll be about 12.

Actual CON update: Yesterday I went out as Hythlodaeus for the FF general shoot and had a great time! Ran into the cosplayer I got mistaken for repeatedly last year, who called me over because of the axolotl riding in my hood, hahah. Managed to go over the entire dealer's room before crashing.

Made it out to get my badge, confirmed it's a VERY short walk to the con, had a guy try to get my number despite the fact I'm probably old enough to be his mom, took a few pics on the walk back.
As noted, accessibility nightmare, but historic buildings are neat. Check those elevator indicators!

Have arrived, the Henley Park Hotel is gorgeous but an accessibility nightmare and this weekend is going to suck because there are no mini-fridges or even ice machines. Diet Coke is all i have that doesn't need refrig after opening. Will have to ring the desk multiple times per day to request ice.

Apparently she understands that while she hated what I was doing to her, it did make her feel better and she's grateful. :)

First attempted costume of the con - because really? A Suikoden shhot in 2025? Had to pull out Gremio again... with both optimal props. :)

Not an east-facing window. alas, but even indirect light has shown to charge the glow-in-the-dark pigment pretty well. Letting all the "white pearl" gems soak it in the best i can.... wonder if i can rig up a way to hang it IN the window

....Great, one more reason to worry about the buns and feel like I should really just head home.
Nothing bad has happened with the con experience so far, just... augh. I was already worrying about a couple of the buns, and now it's hot and the AC won't come on until afternoon. :/

Additionally, since Urianger canonically spends a lot of time around rabbits... I had an excuse. :D

Also in the "can't believe I made this" department: Urianger is definitely at the "wearable" stage now. I started connecting the dots, so to speak, on all the stuff on the skirt, and couldn't stop until I was done. :D
Still a lot of little details that aren't there, and wig needs work. BUT.

Less than two weeks until ACen, and between medical testing, been trying to get Urianger done. Not quite "wearable" yet, but getting close if you count the bits that are not pictured because they've been made, but not assembled in such a way that they can be attached yet.
