And don’t worry because I’ve been itching to use this video of Republicans saying they don’t even think that marriage certificates should be explicitly mentioned in the bill as a way for married women to prove their identity. Sooo

Yes, because the sponsor of the bill is the most affirmative source for how it’s actually going to impact Americans 🤔 but lets let him contradict exactly what he wrote in there… that Americans could use their REAL ID to register to vote. Because now he’s finally admitting that they can’t….

But so glad you mentioned Chip Roy, because here’s a video of him admitting the entire REAL ID portion of the bill is unworkable because the vast majority of Americans’ REAL IDs do not indicate their citizenship status, which is what the bill requires…

The SAVE Act & Trump’s unconstitutional EO say voters could use REAL ID….as long as it indicates citizenship status. Only problem is — the vast majority REAL IDs don’t do this.

Don’t take my word for it — listen to Rep. Roy, the sponsor of the bill admit this provision is currently unworkable.
