At some point will Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill (BBB) turn into Big Beauitful Legislation (BBL) 😁

I always thought lemons didn't have seeds. My husband did the cooking and any lemon segment he'd put in food or drink was always seedless. Only after he died did I realise - he'd been deseeding for me all this time. I think about this often.

Just shouted “hey siri, where are you?” to find my phone, my hearing aids said “hey I’m over here”. Thanks for that, really useful. Would be very helpful if the default response to that prompt only played through the iPhone’s speaker

Wish that recipes always listed ice in the ingredients when it’s needed during the process. I need to make sure I have it in stock like everything else

75 days deep into dry January now, it's going to be a long stint this year 👀 also feeling content with having less fun too.

I wonder if they split the bill evenly at the Last Supper or if Jesus picked up the tab

At what point do we acknowledge that getting people to eat plant based diets at the scale required to mitigate climate change by 2030/40/50 is unlikely? Targets are slowly being missed, meat consumption barely changes and mass behaviour change is exceptionally difficult.

Google AI just told me that papaya grows quickly in the UK and get fruit in 9 months 🤣 I guess their AI isn't very good at determining the context of the phrase 'fastest growing'

Word economy and direct language are the most important factors in creating effective social media scripts. Make statements of fact, avoid rhetoric and each line should be able to stand alone as a complete statement. Get to the point, quickly.

People are very quick to dismiss ChatGPT outputs when they know they are ChatGPT outputs. When they don't know, their reaction is completely different!

I know that hustle culture is dead and prioritising sleep is definitely the new flex, I love my 8+ hours. But when it comes to work, I can't beat the feeling of getting up at 6am and getting loads done before 10am, even if it means going to bed at 9pm.

Every now and again I like to sit down and consider what activities are considered normal today, yet will seem almost medieval in 100 years. I reckon being able to drive a car is one of them.

I meditated most days for a decade and then between 2021 and 2024 I did 1,000 days of breathwork and in conclusion, morning breathwork sets me up for the day better than meditation does, however meditation is better for calming anxiety and existential dread. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk

I've spent 20yrs working for some of the world's largest social media firms and the fact is most people don't comment. So when the Internet is blowing up about something, it's largely meaningless. Everyone would do well to remember that.

Noticed a lot of shops adopting the 'LGBTQ+ friendly' tag on Google Maps and wondering what they're actually doing to qualify that? Because I get the feeling they're adding it simply when they don't discriminate, which is literally a legal baseline.

Daylesford Organic had to write-off £1m of out-of-date or obsolete stock. I hope they donated the food to a food bank or similar charity, because it was probably enough to feed up to four people.

Google searches for 'vegan' and 'veganuary' have been going down consistently for six years, dropping around 75%. Plant-based has done precisely the opposite, increasing around 75%. It appears that veganuary needs to make way for plantanuary*

(*Gold star for a snappier name)

People say the country is going down the pan and then become outraged when the most insignificant change is made to anything they interact with. Even when science overwhelmingly supports the change.

Every day I go to the shops, buy more food and drink, yet still don’t have anything at home which I can cook.

I often think about the woman on the train to Bath who shouted at us for mocking her poshness simply because my girlfriend was pulling silly faces at me. I guess that’s the downside of thinking you’re the main character
