So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

the thing that upsets me about this the most is that Dems had all the momentum, republicans were reeling, and we were getting intra-GOP fighting over the filibuster, all while voters were blaming republicans for their incompetence

this destroys all of this. just a total gut punch

I was dreaming that I was at work (odd, as I'm currently unemployed), when the crown on my upper back molar came loose. I was trying to tell my manager that I would be out the following morning because I had to go to the dentist. That's when I woke up, and found that the crown had indeed come off.

Drove out to Waltham a while back and met up with my friend Steven, who was there on business, to have dinner and catch up. the company was great, the restaurant atmosphere was good, and the food was so-so.
