The partial Black Sea ceasefire negotiated by the US for Russia and Ukraine has already been violated by Russia. Trump has brought back a new version of the mineral deal and wrote in so many poison pill provisions that Ukraine will be forced to reject the deal.

This is an excellent and timely factsheet on Ukraine, U.S. v. European security assistance, and other misunderstood or lied about aspects of the war, by our friends at @thestudyofwar.bsky.social. I'll summarize a few main points below, with additional sources of my own:

Huge amounts of training data for military AI are generated in Ukraine. Video from 15.000 drones on the frontline is captured and stored, amounting to 2 million hours of battlefield footage since the war started. But there is a catch. Or two. 🧵 1/17
Ukraine collects vast war data trove to train AI models
As the future of warfare pivots towards artificial intelligence, Ukraine is sitting on a valuable resource: millions of hours of footage from drones which can be used to train AI models to make decisions on the battlefield.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly has called for Ukraine to be provided with medium-range missiles.

These could be ballistic missiles with a range of 1,000-5,500 km, including Tomahawk missiles, which can strike at the enemy's strategic depth.

Donald Trump's re-election as US President will transform the Russia-Ukraine War and the relationship with NATO. However, it will go further, but also reshaping how the EU/Europe outside of NATO engages on transatlantic relations with the USA.

“Sky Fortress” is a Ukrainian system of thousands of microphones, listening for the distinctive sounds of Russian low-flying UAVs such as the Shared.
They are networked to machine-learning processing nodes, that can send a truck with a .50 cal. gun to an intercept point.
