Google could have probably attempted to be responsible and forced the images to have watermarks. We are so fucked.
As @paleofuture.bsky.social notes in this thread, these images were probably created using Google's Nano Banana Pro image generator. NBP is really good at making photorealistic images that are getting really difficult to spot in the wild.
I've seen this image enough now that I feel like I should point out it's fake.

New York for example has been trying to scale up its ATI programs recently.
In the ideal scenario where about 25% of those who would have otherwise been incarcerated are diverted to ATI programs (with much lower recidivism rates) that still leaves the remaining 75% who are incarcerated.
