wrong

I smack you with Claire Hummel's immaculate and detailed understanding of costume design, which she got by studying historical references, which made her strong, which you will not become by relying on AI

Just before noon, I figured I better check again… the hangar bay was opening!

Little out of focus for a few seconds, but I got the focus back- apologies- I was so excited & shooting w/ the sun on my viewer.

Today, the word “Luddite” is used as an insult to anyone resistant to technological innovation. But a recent book argues that Luddism stood not against technology per se but for the rights of workers in the face of automation.

Important for writers whose books have been used without permission for AI training--this is the class action lawsuit against Anthropic. Find your books in the LibGen database, and fill out the form on the law firm's website.
"If your books were uploaded to LibGen/fed into the LLMs, add your name to the potential class action lawsuit by tomorrow." Details:

No criticism at all to Animation Obsessive in any way here — in fact, I am immensely grateful to them for putting Glassworker on my radar.

But beside that, I find it a very sad state of things that GenAI has become so prevalent that we need to clarify when something isn’t.
The Glassworker is a gorgeous, moving, sometimes brutal feature from Pakistan. Making it was a decade-long struggle.

Ghibli inspired it, but this is no GenAI knockoff. It’s a deep study of Hayao Miyazaki's and Isao Takahata's filmmaking. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/learning-t...

the thing everyone is going to have to accept is that the post-trump period, whenever it comes, will not and cannot be a project of national unity, it must be a project of partisan project of renewal, in the same way that reconstruction and the new deal were partisan projects of renewal.
