Let it all come out. All of it.

May every single man (and woman) who had anything to do with Epstein after his crimes came to light be exposed, and may utter personal and professional ruin fall on the ones who participated in the abuse.

Don't care if they're Ds or Rs, CEOs or Nobel laureates.

Some good news on the ICE cold front (pun intentional). The city of Center Line, MI in “Trumpy” Macomb County has rescinded its agreement to work with ICE. This happened after people protested at a City Council meeting last week. Let’s keep the pressure up on those who capitulate to tyranny!

We just finished the set up for the Artisan Holiday Market at the Rochester OPC. 9 AM to 3 PM. This old distance runner has the same jitters I had before a race in the old days.

The #NoKings protest in Trumpy Commerce Twp MI before the severe thunderstorm forced us to take shelter. It was organized by High School students, and there was a good turnout. It was the first anti-Trump protest in my community. We got a bit wet before the lightening came.

My new sign for today’s protest. A response to the MAGA talking points.

For the first time there is a protest today in the Trumpy township where I live. It is being organized by High School students! Go kids!

Is the United States an oligarchy?

Yes. Yes it is.

I’ve had some crystal components with holes on both ends for a few years, and I had no idea what to do with them. Today it came to me. They are perfect for adding some bling to my chain maille bracelets!

My grandson has no school today due to conferences. So the “fort” is back in the front room, and we’re adding to the Halloween decor.

Five years after starting this bracelet I have finally completed the project. The finishing touch is a small crystal flower at the end of the chain.

I started this bracelet way back in 2020. It uses a tricky and time consuming beading stitch. I got half way through it, and put it aside until a week ago. I remember being frustrated by tangled and fraying thread. I still need to weave in the loose ends and add a clasp.

I just finished the first pair of socks that I started in over a decade. I need to start some more, but it will have to wait until after my craft show next month. On to the jewelry!

I’ve always loved the look of Russian Leaf earrings, so last year I started a pair. It was too close to the craft show, and I didn’t finish them in time. I had no idea how hard they are. I read 3 different sets of instructions and still struggled. I finally finished them today. I feel accomplished.

I’m starting to make jewelry in preparation for a craft show in November. First up are a couple of bracelets made from materials I bought when I first started this hobby. I seldom do this type of jewelry any more.

I was just in a zoom for people volunteering to write letters to the editor in Michigan. There were 34 people ready to spread the talking points across the state. We are trying to get money out of politics and keep a petition off the ballot that would make it harder to vote in MI. Let’s go!

I mailed my second set of 100 issue-related postcards this morning to Virginia voters ahead of their state elections. This set is about mass layoff and unemployment. I think that’s it for me this year. I have a craft show to prepare for.

I just canceled my Disney+ subscription. When they asked why, I selected “Other” and wrote “Because you gave in to our fascist dictatorship and pulled Jimmy Kimmel.”

Again: The biggest divide is not between “right” and “left." It’s between democracy and oligarchy. The billionaires who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us. They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see that they have all the wealth and power. (@taxgreed.bsky.social)

They announced yesterday that J D Vance will visit a stamping plant in Howell, Michigan on Wednesday. He should feel right at home, since it’s well known as the Michigan headquarters of the KKK. Too bad I won’t be able to go and protest. Maybe I can just find a bridge over I-96 to hang a sign on.

More music this cellist loves to ply. Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings. The orchestrations are just so lush! I played a simplified version of the Waltz movement in high school; the the first movement is my favorite.

The sheer incompetence of the federal government under Trump is just mind boggling. Last month when I went to pay my Medicare premium online, the payment site was down. I had to wait a day or 2 to get it done. Today it worked, but I was unable to pay my estimated quarterly income tax.
