"Trump’s second term is about correcting the errors of his first. In 2020, Trump’s plan to seize voting machines was blocked from within the government, but the WH is now staffed by loyalists. And with Trump deploying the military to US cities, he'll have boots on the ground to execute his plans."
The real reason Trump is deploying the military into US cities
Yes, it's a distraction. Yes, it's an authoritarian power grab. But it's also more than that.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is ousting all members of a key CDC vaccination advisory committee and replacing them with his own picks.

The move appears to contradict a pledge he made during his confirmation process.

Kennedy said the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, a group of experts who recommend vaccines, has been "plagued with persistent conflicts of interest."

The people of Missouri made it very clear: They wanted abortion rights (at least until fetal viability).

Alas, the Missouri Supreme Court doesn’t seem to be inclined to listen.

G: Would you be using it for travel?

N: No idea

Do you have any comment on the health care that 67,000 people in your district are going to lose?

Does Kristi Noem even know what habeas corpus is?
The Homeland Security secretary's word salad raised even more questions about the administration's assault on fundamental rights.

In the name of reducing fentanyl overdoses, Trump has gone to the extreme—levied tariffs, listed cartels as terrorist groups, and weighed drone strikes in Mexico.

But these proclamations gloss over a glaring reality: The admin is decimating funding for treatment and overdose prevention programs.
If Trump cares so much about fentanyl, why is he cutting addiction treatment funding?
Punishing China and Mexico via tariffs won't solve the country's drug problems.
