One of my dreams is to start a company that makes really good appliances and home electronics that never connect to the internet. I’d start with a TV and then move on to washing machines and dishwashers etc. I’d call it something like dumbcorp or whatever.

EVEN IF someone I trust said “We don’t know why this is, but putting the word tomato at the beginning of every sentence seems to help reduce systemic racism”

Someone made a deliberate choice about the language used to describe slavery in historical context.

Looking for advice: I am about to need to convert a sizeable amount of USD to CAD. Last time I did it I just used RBC and I got a much worse than mid market rate. I can’t be the only tech person on my bluesky feed that sells USD RSUs, what do the rest of you do?
