You can also see that in the 1920s, the pontoon bridge was set up next to Punta della Dogana, which is its original position (that is, not crossing the Grand Canal between San Gregorio and SM del Giglio, as it does in our times). #festadellasalute #venezia #storiadivenezia #canalgrande
