I always love those lists of "35 under 35," but as I get older, I find that I would love to know about innovations/art from people over 65. "65 over 65" please. Elders have incredible ideas that are the result of having seen the full lifecycle of previous ideas and learned from it.

Lately it's hard to be positive about the future. Today I discovered the music of Nina Simone....and it's been an instant boost. Mind is cleared and feeling ready to again face the chaos that is our world now. Never doubt the power of music.

Response letters from my Congressmen leave me more livid than the reasons I wrote them. Cruz's response is 3 months after the fact. Reminding them that Nov 5th was not a "mandate" or "unambiguous call for change" is galling. I am so angry at those who didn't vote and didn't think he would lie.

As others have suggested, walking away from timelines and news has a positive effect on our menatal health (well for most of us). Even better? Reading for fun, getting outside, exercising and real face 2 face interaction. Then by all means rational people….rage on!

So a night spent tossing and turning can knock your ribs out of alignment. It’s mad painful and is called “slipped rib syndrome”. Don’t ask how I know this. Aging is a gift…kinda like an unwanted fruitcake.
