The Beehive Star Cluster (Praesepe, M44) is one of the nearest open star clusters to Earth, consisting of over 1000 stars including red giants and white dwarfs. I capture it high up in the southeast on a moonless windy clear night last Friday (03/21/25).

Well, Comet ATLAS is no more (broke apart just after its closest approach to the Sun), but this is just spectacular. 🔭
Whoa: The European Space Agency's Solar Orbiter spacecraft got a spectacular view of Comet ATLAS (C/2024 G3) as it passed close to the Sun. Look at that enormous, splintered tail!
This comet won't be seen again for another 600,000 years. 🧪🔭

I did some training today for football. More specifically, with finesse shooting. I thought my left foot would be more manageable to shoot with, but it turns out the swelling is still present. So, I had to manage using my right instead. So far it was a good sesh. I just need to actually lean more.
