True, but I've been an avid JRPG player since the '90s and I didn't even bother to get a PS3 until like 2014 because I didn't see any reason to, so like... yeah, PS3 also just didn't have any games.

My sleep-deprived ass saw this and was trying to remember which Digimon "Spatmon" is and what the hell it was doing in Deltarune.

As a kid, I played this game every weekend for like a year straight and never once caught that. Wild.

This is what Digimon is like, too. It's pretty much just Gundam with monsters.

(Once again I am trying to convince Lady Emily to watch Digimon.)

It's like Drew Gooden said in his video about A.I. art: "That's what these A.I. tech bros don't seem to understand: creating the art IS the fun part."

That line genuinely fucked me up.

I've always thought so too. Digimon seems like the kind of show Emily would absolutely adore.

I always love when people first learn that Digimon has always gone way harder than Pokémon. Digimon's first season had kids dealing with depression or coping with the trauma of almost killing their sister. Season three's final arc has a villain feeding off a girl's suicidal thoughts. Shit is wild.

My local retail store only has one dedicated video game aisle, and this includes consoles, controllers, and peripherals. The only physical games still sold are Switch and Switch 2.
