The most succinct way I've heard someone describe Akira Toriyama's legacy is, "Imagine being the guy who designed the Slime from Dragon Quest and that isn't even the thing you're most famous for."

Final Fantasy XII subtitle font comparison (PS2 vs. Zodiac Age)

I get that the new font is better for readability, but I miss when video games weren't afraid to use fonts more stylized than "default Crunchyroll subtitles." (Or in this case, Times New Roman, a.k.a. "default Microsoft Word font.")

"You've shown me that power is nothing if not guided by love. Watching you grow has helped me grow, Gohan."

Look, I know GT isn't canon and also kinda sucks. And I know this line is more than likely dub-only. But this being Piccolo's final words before he dies (for good!) makes me openly sob.

I reviewed Code Bunny (my first professional review) in December, and since then, it's been updated. Replaying it, something I brought up has been addressed! I know deep down that it wasn't BECAUSE of me, but it's surreal to see something I brought up in a video be "fixed" in an official capacity.

People are -- 20 years after the fact -- discovering that Merlin's globe in Kingdom Hearts II has the world map from Final Fantasy IX on it, and that's pretty neat. I see this and hope that maybe, 20 years from now, people will also discover my YouTube channel and think it's equally neat.

Something about Digimon Adventure that still amuses me is that the show couldn't seem to decide whether Sora's hat was a helmet or a beanie, sometimes changing *within the same episode.*

What do you think? Helmet or beanie?

Just got my copy in! Enjoying the new dub so far. I like that they didn't set out to make a 100% super-accurate-to-the-original version, but rather what these movies' dubs WOULD'VE been like if Fox hadn't chimera'd the films together. A good amount of the original dub's jokes have been left in!

Not trying to start a fandom war or anything, but it is kinda funny seeing Mario fans finally understand how Sonic fans felt when GameSpot gave Sonic Unleashed a fucking 4.

Sonic X Shadow Generations has surpassed one million sold within its first day of release.

For comparison, the original Sonic Generations took six months to sell a million. Sonic Mania took a year.

This is huge.

SEGA did such a good job at marketing the Shadow portion of the game that some critics forgot the game was a Sonic Generations remaster.
