Was playing age of steam for first time at a local con today and my first game was derailed by a very experienced player calling our moves stupid and declaring he refused to complete the game cause we weren’t playing properly.
Shame such demented mentalities still persist in board games!

One thing I always thought about was recasting myself as an identity-centric board game commentator (a crude example being the ‘arab meeple’) but I just never felt comfortable with that, if my content wasn’t interesting or useful why would knowing my personal background make a difference?
