Tracker of ships from the russia's shadow fleet that approach or transit Irish waters.
Not A Foreign Operative

Here's an explanation on how I classify vessels on my maps.
Under analysis is used when a vessel doesn't fit the suspicious criteria.
Norway Coast Guard is staying amongst the Norway fishing fleet.

Potential for four sanctioned tankers to make their way up from Spain.

Two sanctioned ships came close to the coast SONATA (29.5NM) and BURAN (30.9NM)

What would a pollution incident at that distance look like?

Spanish C295 has just departed Shannon and is heading north west.

While the shadow fleet poses a number of risks.
Risk to shipping, the environment and the use as a platform for hybrid warfare.
The human cost must also be considered.
Crew being used as modern slaves.

3 sanctioned tankers off the coast of Ireland.
Two LNG which appears to be in convoy.
One oil.

PAZ is a renamed, reflagged sanctioned tanker.
It has a history of switching its AIS off and engaging in high risk shipping practices.
It has also been deemed a risk to the environment.

I track vessels that are sanctioned and highlight any that are potentially heading to Irish waters or are passing off the Irish coast.

These are vessels that continue to fund russia's war effort.

In the past fortnight 19 have passed.
By adding the combined deadweight tonnage (DWT)
I've estimated.
