Marc Garneau led Canada's way into space, not only as our first astronaut but also as a leader of the Canadian Space Agency. As a politician, he showed a high degree of class that is sadly in short supply today. His passing is a surprise, especially since I had seen him in good form last November.

I don't think I have ever seen anything as revolting as the conduct today of Trump and Vance while meeting with President Zelenskyy. They demand respect for themselves and show none to the thousands of Ukrainian military and civilians killed and injured in Putin's barbaric invasion of Ukraine.
