This is more of your crap, Trump. But if you want to play, then every last J6 pardon is up to be rescinded by a future President for far more substantive reasons than the use of an auto pen.

Bullsh!t. The mechanism of signature does not matter. That has already been tested in the courts. “Last year, a federal appeals court said presidential pardons do not even have to be in writing.”

This was always the math - it didn’t need a CBO scoring for people to realize this, but hopefully now they’ll wake up.

The GOP is going after Medicaid and Medicare to give their rich friends a tax cut. Full stop.
NEW: Republicans cannot meet their own budget target without cutting Medicare or Medicaid, budget office says

The math is simple 👇

House Budget requires E&C to cut spending by $880 billion.

CBO says E&C oversees $581 billion outside Medicare/Medicaid.

A recession isn’t inevitable yet, but if the administration continues on its current path, it’s more likely than not.

Why are we tanking the market for a completely pointless trade war with our allies again?

If you’re arguing that trade deficits are always bad (they’re not, but let’s pretend), Canada is only 7% of our deficit.

Why aren’t we focused on a larger problem?

The GOP has a majority in both chambers of Congress and crafted a budget with *zero* input from Dems.

If there’s a shutdown, they don’t get to blame Democrats.

You knew you’d need Dem votes to make it happen. Should have spend some time earning some.

I completely understand Schumer wanting to avoid a shutdown - they’re destructive, and they harm a lot of folks who don’t deserve it.

What I *don’t* understand is Schumer saying that Dems were unified in opposition only to change his mind a day later. He looks like a jackass.
